TOPIC:   Sustainable Landscapes:  Their Impact on Facilities Management

Sustainable storm water design and features are becoming more of the norm for site design.  Landscape architect, Rosheen Styczinski, will discuss the various opportunities to integrate sustainable practices into landscapes.  We will also tour the grounds of the award winning offices of Milwaukee World Festivals and Summerfest.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER - Rosheen Styczinski, FASLA

Rosheen Styczinski is the founder and design principal of New Eden Landscape Architecture, LLC in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  She has extensive experience in green infrastructure design including green roofs and urban sustainable site design as well as construction management.

In addition, Rosheen has an expertise in healing and therapeutic gardens. Her work is found at several major healthcare facilities and hospitals in Milwaukee and Madison.

Her work has been recognized and awarded for its innovation and excellence including the Mayor’s Urban Design Award, 2016 Business Journal Real Estate Award, 2016 Daily Reporter Top Project, American Society of Landscape Architects-Wisconsin Chapter, and Associated Builders and Contractors. She designed the green roof and site landscape for a 2012 AIA COTE Top Ten Green project.

In 2003, Rosheen was elected as a Fellow in the American Society of Landscape Architects for her national contributions to the profession.

PARKING
Parking is on the lot kitty korner from the building. The office is in the southwest corner of the intersection of Polk Street and Harbor Drive, and the parking lot is in the Northeast corner. Harbor Drive is closed due to construction. See map with directions below.
