Volunteers are needed to plant seeds, plants, water, and maintain the growth of vegetable plants for Green Power garden plots.  U.W. Extension supports the garden and a master gardener will guide you during your shift. 

We start our efforts in Spring and garden throughout the summer and early Fall.  Later in the season harvesting, weighing, and possible delivery are needed also.  Thousands of pounds of fresh produce are provided to local pantries and those in need.  

Plots are sectioned off to assist with social distancing and gardening tools are available.  If you have your favorite shovel, rake, or weed trimmer, bring it along.  The garden is near 164 and Hwy 59.   

We encourage you to bring sunscreen, bug spray, water, and work gloves.
