EVENTS! – The FM’s “Outside the Box” Challenge
In addition to 'everything buildings and grounds', facility managers are increasingly being tasked with handling large events onsite. This Tri-Chapter, we are bringing together expert voices from around the area and the U.S. to provide insight and share best practices on addressing the challenges brought by adding dozens, hundreds or thousands of extra bodies to your corporate campus for an event. The experts will cover a myriad of topics, including:
- Security/Safety
- Sustainability
- Crowd management
- Traffic control
- Staffing
- Waste removal
- Food service
A speaker 'sneak peek'...
Debbie Friedel, UW Eau Claire alumnus and Corporate Director for Sustainability at Delaware North, a large provider of operations management for sporting/entertainment/resort/gaming/parks facilities around the world.

Representatives from the Green Bay Packers, Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport and others to discuss planning for and executing operations for the 2025 NFL Draft
Steve Van Remortel, Chief Strategist and Talent Advisor, Stop the Vanilla, will discuss in his presentation 'Talent Planning: Mastering the People Side of Facilities Management' how to build and execute a talent plan rooted in behavioral science—one that helps reduce turnover, close skill gaps, and turn your workforce into a competitive advantage. He will then lead a workshop that does a deeper dive into talent planning during the morning breakout sessions.

Yes, you're busy, but you can't afford to miss out--make this your year to attend Tri-Chapter!
