Join us on February 14th for Hunzinger Construction University's program titled "VDCC" Virtual Design and Construction Coordination: Efficient Design and Construction that Supports the Facility Management Mission."
We invite you to set aside any preconceived notions of BIM and to experience what VDCC can provide in order to develop creative solutions during the Design and Construction Process. The high degree of precision that VDCC provides regarding building systems and quantities results in reducing the cost of and the duration it takes to build a facility.
VDCC is most beneficial to all project stakeholders when it is implemented starting at the earliest stages of a building’s schematic design and design development. Our overall goals are to engage in a process that is collaborative, streamlined, and delivers an efficient design. VDCC aids the construction planning and implementation processes, reduces the potential for “value engineering”, improves constructability, effectively manages the project budget, validates costs and allows end-users and facilities managers to optimize the long-term operations and maintenance of their buildings.
Tim Verheyen, LEED AP BD+C, Director of Technical Services, will be the main presenter.
The meeting will be held at Hunzinger Construction University located at 21050 Enterprise Ave. Brookfield Wi. 53045. We ask everyone to park on the east side of the building in the parking lot. There is plenty of parking available.
